Pressure Seal:

The pressure seal gate valve employs a mechanism that forces extra gate-to-seat contact when closed. This increased sealing action makes it well-suited for high-pressure applications. The force application can be achieved through hydraulic, pneumatic, or manual means. While more complex in design, pressure seal gate valves can handle fluid pressures up to 15,000 psi.
