This silk suture wire has exceptional node properties. It is braided for easy handling, it is coated with wax to give hand to the suture. It is naturally produced from cocoons of the silkworm. It is non-absorbable which provides prolonged tensile strength retention in tissue for up to 3 months. It is indicated for use in general soft tissue or ligation which include uses in many procedures.
