Product Details

LOCTITE 277 is a one-component, anaerobic, high strength, medium viscosity threadlocker. This red adhesive (when uncured) is designed for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. Typical applications include the locking and sealing of large bolts and studs (M25 and larger). Its thixotropic nature prevents migration of adhesive liquid. It gives high torque strength and also prevents oil contaminations from various oils, such as cutting, lubrication, anti-corrosion and protection fluids. Easy application process as well as easy disassembly process through applying localised heat ( to approximately 250 °C) to the nut or bolt.
