Loctite 567 is a white, 1-part thread sealant designed for the locking and sealing of tapered metal pipe threads and fittings. As an anaerobic-curing thread sealant, it cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage due to shock and vibration. Its high lubricating properties prevent galling on stainless steel, aluminium and all other metal pipe threads, and allow easy disassembly. The product offers high temperature performance and oil tolerance. And it tolerates minor surface contamination from various oils, such as cutting, lubrication, anti-corrosion and protection fluids.
