Durable and Long Lasting
I have been using this pH meter for months now, and it is still as accurate as day one. The durability of this pH meter is commendable, and it has become an integral part of my daily lab routine.

While we have been witnessing the transformation of the world through technological evolution in different fields, we may put little concern for our natural resources like agriculture, soil, food and even water. However, thanks to the pH meter, which made this possible to ensure the acidity of water, soil and other food items. A pH water tester, also known as a pH meter, is a device used to determine the alkalinity or acidity of liquids, water, and other solutions. The pH level tester is also known as a potentiometric pH tester because it calculates and displays the variations in electrical potential between the reference and pH electrodes.
To test the water quality, many municipal water suppliers, healthcare/clinical apps, swimming pools, wine brewers, and others use digital pH meters. The most practical way to classify pH meters is into three major groups or types. Pen testers, handheld/portable meters, and benchtop meters are all examples. MCP, U-Tech, Lapbro, Labtronics, Manti, Electronics India and other well-known brands sell electronic pH meters and are available at Moglix.
These are types of pen-held pH meters and are designed to carry them effortlessly while commuting to places for laboratory testing, on field testing and monitoring any aquaculture and agricultural soil. Often built with ABS plastic to stand strong against dust and water.
Pen testers are pocket-sized instruments that are typically the least expensive type of pH meter on the market. The small size of the pH meter, display, and electrode all-in-one design makes them extremely easy to transport and use on the go. Pen Testers have numerous applications in the construction, hydroponics, food manufacturing, and pool or spa maintenance industries.
Handheld meters are typically larger than pen testers and have a more rugged design. The electrode is built separately from the meter in this type. Handheld meters typically have interchangeable electrodes that can be used to measure pH. For medium-to-firm objects, for example, spear-tipped electrodes are used. Handheld meters are designed for use in the field. Environmental officers, field studies, aquaculture, agriculture, and water treatment all use them.
Benchtop pH meters are the largest of the three types. They can be mounted on a desk or the wall. They have the highest degree of accuracy of any type of pH meter, making them ideal for professional and laboratory use. Benchtop pH meters are commonly used in food processing plants, quality assurance laboratories, water testing labs, and environmental testing labs.
Before you plan to buy a pH tester, you need to be fully aware of its every application to choose the right type of pH tester. Below are the elaborated applications:
Display: The display of a digital pH meter is equipped with LCD and LED, whereas in an analogue pH meter, a needle-based dial is embedded.
Accuracy: In terms of accuracy, Digital pH comes with a high accuracy level (±0.01 pH). Analogue pH meters are lower in accuracy with a range of (±0.1–0.2 pH)
Calibration: The digital pH meter comes with auto calibration and is fast in conversion, whereas you need to calibrate manually in an Analogue pH meter, which is generally a slower process.
Data logging: The most critical benefit of using a digital pH meter is the data logging and deriving it as per the requirement. In Analogue, this feature is absent.
Calibration: Ensure that the pH conductivity meter you purchase has been calibrated so that the results displayed are accurate. pH buffer solutions can be used to calibrate the instrument. The most commonly used buffer solutions are 4, 7, and 10, which are coloured red, yellow, and blue. The majority of the most recent pH water testers and meters have single-step calibration procedures.
Accuracy: Accuracy is an important consideration when purchasing a pH level tester because getting an accurate pH level is critical. The accuracy ranges from 0.1 to 0.001 pH. A pH meter with a 0.10 accuracy is adequate for a school lab, whereas a meter with a 0.01 accuracy is ideal for research or quality control environments.
Electrode: The pH level tester includes an electrode that measures hydrogen ion concentration when dipped in water. The electrodes are small, fragile glass bulbs that are easily broken. When purchasing any pH meter, it is best to factor in the cost of replacing these electrodes. Some bulbs also include non-clogging tips for measuring the pH of food items.
Temperature: Temperature does not affect pH readings. To get an accurate reading, make sure the pH conductivity meter you buy is calibrated at the same temperature. Advanced pH meters with automatic temperature compensation systems are also available.
Portability: Whether you're looking for a meter for agriculture, a lab, or another application, a handheld or pocket meter is always a better choice. They are portable, small, light, and generally waterproof and durable. Benchtop meters, on the other hand, are usually better and more accurate for laboratories.

They are well-known for its extensive product selection, which allows customers to select from a wide variety. Their pH meters are suitable for testing the pH balance of drinking water, pools, aquariums, spas, hydroponics, food, wine, and beer making, cosmetics, and more.

What is acidity and alkalinity?
A PH meter's primary purpose is to identify acidity and alkalinity. Acidity works in the same way that a buffer does in that the stronger the acidity, the more neutralizer is required to counteract it. The capacity of a solution to react with a strong acid (typically sulfuric acid H2SO4) to a predetermined pH is measured by alkalinity.
How do you measure negative pH?
If your acid solution is stronger than 1N, you'll receive a pH of less than 0, which is known as a negative pH. If the molarity of hydrogen ions is larger than 1, the pH value will be negative.
