Crompton 80 litre desert cooler at this price - comparing with other branded options, this is clearly the best value available.

Good Ice Feature..

Threw ice in on the hottest afternoon - temperature in the room dropped noticeably for about 90 minutes. Works as advertised.

Nice Build..

White and black colour combination looks clean. Honeycomb pads are thick - much better than the basic flat pads in cheaper coolers.

Best Desert Cooler!!

Crompton brand ka bharosa tha. Optimus 80 ne woh trust maintain kiya - 4 mahine of peak summer without a single breakdown.

Worth It!!

Hall mein AC lagana budget mein nahi tha. Is cooler ne poori summer manageable rakhdi - 10-12 logon ne baith ke dekha cricket saath.

Solid Cooler!!

Daily use for 4 months through peak Delhi summer. Motor still humming same, pads still wet evenly, no leaks from anywhere.

Heavy When Full..

80 litres of water makes this very heavy. Moving it across different floor surfaces needs two people when completely full.

Good Wheels..

Four heavy duty castors handle the full 80 litre weight. Moved it from hall to bedroom and back daily - wheels stayed smooth.

Good Cooling..

200W motor throws air to the far end of our 18x15 hall comfortably. Temperature drops 4-5 degrees within 15 minutes of switching on.

Nice Water Indicator..

Transparent gauge at the side is a small thing but very practical. Check water level with one glance without opening the lid.

Worth Buying!!

Third summer with a Crompton cooler - different model this time. Same reliable quality. Will not try another brand honestly.

Excellent Pads!!

Honeycomb pads stay wet for longer - air stays cool for longer between water pump cycles. Noticeable difference from old cooler.

Awesome Capacity!!

80 litre capacity is the real game changer here. No mid-day refill panic - just fill in the morning and forget about it completely.

Pump Noise at Night..

Water pump cycling on and off makes an audible click. Noticeable in silence at 2am when everything else is quiet.

Superb Air Throw

Air reach is genuinely impressive for 200W. Even at medium speed the air flow covers the full room without dead zones.

Less Effective in Humidity..

Cooling dropped to almost nothing during pre-monsoon humid days. Desert cooler physics - works only in dry heat, not humidity.

Loud on High Speed..

Full speed is quite noisy. Fine for daytime when there is ambient sound but not comfortable for sleeping in the same room.
