Superb Reliability

Lab runs 6 days a week. Centrifuge has not skipped a beat in 5 months. Motor runs cool and quiet even after 50+ cycles daily.

Nice & Quiet..

Runs surprisingly quietly for a centrifuge at this capacity. Lab conversations are easy to have while the machine is running.

Vibration High..

Noticeable vibration when running at higher RPM with uneven tube loading. Table placement needs to be very stable for accuracy.

Good Performance..

Swing out rotor is a significant advantage for serum separation. Pellets form cleanly with minimal disturbance after stopping.

Rotor Wobble..

Noticed slight rotor wobble at mid-range RPM. Service engineer visited and adjusted it but issue came back after 2 weeks.

Worth Buying!!

Replaced a much older centrifuge with this. Speed accuracy and timer precision are both significantly better on the R-8C Plus.

Nice Build..

Lid locking mechanism feels solid and safe. Auto-lid lock during run gives confidence especially with new lab staff operating.

Consistent RPM throughout the cycle. Speed does not fluctuate even at maximum load with all 24 tubes filled.

Display Dim..

Digital display is hard to read in bright lab lighting. Should be brighter or have better contrast for practical lab use.

Slow Delivery..

Machine took 12 days to arrive after order. Lab work was delayed significantly. Faster dispatch is needed for lab equipment.
