Beautiful Bokeh

Background blur is very smooth, especially when shooting portraits wide open.

Excellent Character

Manual focus hai but focus ring ka feel excellent hai. Images have a very distinctive look and nice contrast.

Amazing Rendering

I mainly use this lens for portrait photography. The build feels premium, focusing is smooth and the images have that classic rendering with rich contrast and natural-looking background separation.

Very Sharp

At f/1.4 the lens gives a lovely combination of subject separation and detail. Stopping down a little makes it even sharper.

Superb Portraits

85mm focal length works beautifully for portraits, giving a flattering perspective without needing to stand too close.
