This is my first purchase for an infrared type cooktop. Unlike inductions, these type of cooktops becomes a bit heavy along with BBQ grill, and remains hot for a little longer post cooking. But trust me, if you can put up with this little inconvenience, a whole new host of cooking opportunities open up for you, starting from the liberty to use any kind of preferred utensils or superfast cooking with temperatures that can reach past 500°C . Performance wise too, its very sturdy for daily use and doing a great job as I'm using it for about a week now, with no hiccups whatsoever. I
