Upon receiving this Kalinga Gold cable, I immediately noticed inconsistencies in the thickness of the copper conductors. This raises serious concerns about the cable's ability to handle the advertised current load and raises potential safety issues. Uneven conductor thickness can lead to overheating and increased resistance, which are particularly dangerous for submersible applications where the cable is exposed to water and heat. This product falls short of the quality standards expected for a critical electrical component and cannot be trusted for reliable underwater use.

Brittle insulation

The PVC insulation on this Kalinga Gold cable is incredibly brittle and prone to cracking and tearing during installation. This is particularly problematic for submersible applications where the cable needs to be maneuvered and secured underwater. Even slight bends or pressure resulted in damage to the insulation, exposing the conductors and potentially compromising the waterproof seal.
