Small appearance, big work

It is doing the duty silently. there is no foot valve fixed, because i am using the motor for plumbing water from a secondary tank, truly a self priming pump. as i got the product which the both basement have dent. overall it is working very smoothly.

Received pump through gati. there was minor damage to the inside box, though the pump itself looks undamaged. i will get the pump installed next week, hopefully it works as intended. i bought the pump thinking it had head rating of 6-26m as stated on moglix website but the actual pump label says it is 6-24m, not that it matters because i need to only raise water from sump to about 14m high, but moglix needs to edit their site to reflect actual label rating of 6-24m.

I am using water pumps for the last 40 years, have used tullu (carbon models) tullu 0.37kw, crompton, kalsi, sharp etc. all the pumps have served satisfactorily. as i wanted to get rid of carbon model of tullu (which served almost for 30 years trouble free). after going through all specifications and my requirement ( 2 metres suction and 3 metres delivery) i opted for kirloskar chhotu 0.5 h.p. it is working excellently for my purpose and totally trouble free service till now. i liked its sound free feature as it works silently. the pump was delivered by moglix within a week time. excellent deal.
