Recently i purchased tp link vigi c540 w model for my home. this model has two option for connectivity, using rj45 lan cable and through wifi. when i use lan cable, Camera does not work...so I used PoE Splitter Power Over Ethernet Adapter....and it's on...if we used wifi then also 12 voltage is required to on...adapter is included with camera...in short both mode have to required 12 voltage adapter...overall very good... easily connected with NVR in both model you want...for me this is perfect

Pan and Tilt Operation is silent. Vide quality is good. There are lot of other options (Preset, Patrol, Human and Vehicle tracking works great. Not able to read the number plates of small vehicles which are 20 feet away. Getting some boxy tiles in some areas of images. Still playing with settings to fix this. So far wireless range is good (Omada EAP 650 HD AP 40-50 feet away with 2 brick cement wall in middle) Had some glitches when adding to tplink 8ch recorder which had 4 wireless tapo devices added. But factory reset of NVR fixed it
