Ethicon SW213 2-0 Sutupak Black Braided Silk Sterile Suture, Size: 2x75 cm (Pack of 12) is a nonabsorbable, sterile, surgical suture that is composed of an organic protein. It is derived from the domesticated species Bombyx mori. These are processed to remove the natural waxes and gums, dyed black and coated with aspecial wax mixture and are the perfect choice for it. This Ethicon sterile suture is also available as virgin silk suture in which the sericin gum is not removed and serves to hold the filaments together. It is an acute inflammatory reaction in the tissue, which is followed by gradual encapsulation of the suture by fibrous connective tissue.
