Good controller for SOHO

I purchased this to experience the SDN and Control my AP with fast roaming. Product is good. But it's little slower compared to regular device web ui. But it provides advantage of monitoring in a single pane of glass Cons It does not provide all the the feature offered in the standalone device. Though TP link is adding features rapidly, still missing some features. If granular control of each Switch and router is required, better to stay in standalone mode. This is good to manage AP. But not for switches and routers unless there is a pain in managing more devices and better visualisation

Reliable access point

If you want secure your network and add firewall and control everything from single interface and from cloud this is best route. pair it with inexpensive poe+ switch, router and add an access point. it better and inexpensive alternative to sdn network controllers likes of unify or cisco.

Link is a superb product.

Great product

I had bought this because I wanted to manage all eap245 and switches using a single interface. The concept is good, you can manage up to 100 eap and switches you would need to buy Omada-supported switches with poe. I could notfind it in the local or online market but tp-link support arranged one from mumbai.it does not have a power supply as it takes power from poe. make sure you have a poe switch or need to buy an external Lan/poe converter. supports only the managed switch is obvious now my entire network can be managed in one place and even if I am outside of the office. I can access the entire office network from anywhere.

Link is a super product and i absolutely love it.
